Jule was quite a lovely recent discovery. I had noticed her work coming up occasionally online, but was unprepared for what I heard when I finally clicked on a recent performance video. Her interpretation of great music by landmark modern composers like Egberto Gismonti, Ralph Towner and Joni Mitchell are extraordinary, and her original songs and pieces are very strong as well. Such an adept player, and a lovely use of her voice in combination. Such a great pleasure to find Jule and her music!
